Dr. Midega Augustine
Dr. Midega Augustine is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced training in the management of complex diseases and injuries affecting the face, jaws and oral cavity. He holds a Master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nairobi.
He has completed a clinical fellowship at Peking University, where he gained advanced exposure to contemporary maxillofacial surgical techniques and multidisciplinary care. This international training has strengthened his expertise in managing complex maxillofacial conditions in line with global best practices.
Dr. Midega’s clinical interests include 3rd molar/wisdom tooth surgery, the management of oral and facial trauma, surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the oral cavity and complex dentoalveolar surgery. He is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based surgical care while restoring function, aesthetics and quality of life for his patients.
He is registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council and is a member of the Kenya Dental Association and Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons-Kenya (AOMSK). Internationally, he is a member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS) and the AO Craniomaxillofacial (AO CMF). He has attended several local and international scientific conferences and regularly participates in hands-on surgical training as part of his continuous professional development.
